Your agent

Why work with me?

I have lived on Fidalgo Island and in the Skagit Valley for most of my life, with roots stretching back to the 1800s and the era of Lewis and Clark, I'm proud to call the Pacific Northwest home. My deep connection to this region runs through generations, shaped by my heritage as a "Daughter of the Pioneers" (yes, that's a real thing!) and a family legacy of Alaskan fisherfolk. From long seasons fishing the waters of Alaska myself, I've carried forward values that matter: a strong work ethic, the power of your word, and the kind of handshake that still means something.

But more than anything, I'm passionate about people. I'm not just here to help you buy or sell a house. I'm here to listen to your story and help you write the next chapter. Real estate is personal, and I believe in building relationships founded on trust and open communication, because that's how lasting success is built.

I know Skagit, Island, South Whatcom, and Northern Snohomish Counties inside and out, because real estate isn't just about buying and selling houses, it's about finding the right home in the right community. As a full-time, full-service agent, I handle everything from marketing and negotiations to contracts and strategy, and my commitment to clear, open communication means you'll always know what's happening at every step.

Whether you're thinking about buying, selling, or just want to chat over coffee, I'd love to connect. Let's navigate your next move together.

The HEART of how I work

  1. Hear the whole story

Before prices or square footage, I listen for what the move is really about: the job, the people you want to be closer to, the season of life that's changing.

  2. Explain the path

Plain words, no jargon, so you always know what happens next and why. Nobody should feel lost in their own transaction.

  3. Advocate like family

When we negotiate, I treat your money and your outcome the way I'd protect my own.

  4. Respect the season

Every move closes one chapter and opens another. We work at the pace your life needs, not the market's noise.

  5. True North follow-through

Steady guidance from the first kitchen-table conversation to closing day, and a relationship that doesn't end when the sign comes down.

Four counties

Skagit, Island, Whatcom and Snohomish: the towns I work, and the roads between them

Anacortes and Fidalgo Island are home base. The work runs from Bellingham to Stanwood and across the water to Whidbey. Every area below has its own page, written from the ground, not from a listing feed.

Skagit County

Home base, the valley, and the river towns.

Island County

Whidbey, by the Deception Pass bridge.

Whatcom County

The south county, Bellingham and down.

Snohomish County

The north county, Stanwood and Camano.

What clients say

In their words

  • ★★★★★

“I chose DiAnn because of the good reputation I heard she had in the Anacortes area, and let me tell you what, this realtor, out of over 100 homes I've closed on, is by far the best of the best. She goes above and so far above the call of duty. I was simply blown away and very thankful.”

    John D.

“1 word for DiAnn; family. She fought for us like we were her family, counseled us like we were her own kids, and gave us the hard facts even when we didn't want them because it was in our best interest. In every category she went above and beyond and we heard that testimony from other realtors as well.”

    Rich Hutchins · Buyer

As first-time buyers there were aspects of the process that were overwhelming, but DiAnn was always there for us to answer questions and help us out. She proved time and again that she was out for our best interest and cared for us as people, not just a prospective sale.”

Rachel and Luke · First-time buyers

  • ★★★★★

“DiAnn worked tirelessly to help get us into our new home. She goes above and beyond, and truly cares about and protects her clients throughout the process. She is quick to take action and very responsive. We are so happy that we chose DiAnn to be a part of our journey in securing our home.”

“We had a home to sell and a home to purchase at the same time, and she handled both transactions simultaneously with ease. Upon our offer review date we had multiple offers and were in contract right away. We were able to close on both homes the same day. She is a real person who has your best interest at heart and doesn't treat you like another transaction.”
